Discovered Invention

I think this question revolves all around ethics. If the situation was a matter of life or death for the people that need I help I would most definitely use my invention immediately. I'd be too afraid of waiting three months in case someone else discovered it and I would want to help the people in need. I couldn't live with myself if I waited months and let people die just so I could get rich. On the other hand, if my invention was something as petty as a break-through weight loss pill or a get-rich-quick scheme I would most likely wait the three months to make myself some money. These people can wait a few months to lose weight or make money for themselves. Again I think this question is all about your personal ethics and moral standards.
