Historical Road-map

i believe that the architecture of the humanities is the best "road-map" of their history. The architecture of each different culture can show us so much about those people. We can see how intelligent they are. The Romans were great thinkers and innovators for inventing the arch, concrete, and dried bricks. They used new materials and built beautiful structures whose purpose was not only to hold people, but to show how great they were. It is my belief that the Egyptians were the greatest architects of all. They built astonishingly huge pyramids that, for that time, were an amazing feat. Architecture truly shows the history and advancement of a culture and humanity.
